Conclusion
In the fitness adventure the focus is on developing a fitness portfolio (backpack)to assess students' understanding of health related fitness concepts.
A pre-assessment will be given in September. The adventure and tasks are done at various stages throughout the school year with the final component being the fitness test itself, Physical Best-Fitnessgram.
This year long adventure will be done by integrating the technology program with the physical education program. Each stop will be introduced by the Physical Education Instructor and they will actually visit and work on the web quest with our technology instructor.
These different sites play a major role in the Physical Education program where we teach exercise and fitness skills for life.
